    NNL:  Oche Josiah's Brace Seals Second Win For Niger Tornadoes By Admin Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna recorded another win in their Match-day 2 encounter of the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL). The Ikon Allah Boys did not take long before settling into the highly charged encounter against equally impressive Road Safely FC of Abuja who came in search of points having drawn their previous game at home against ABS FC of Ilorin. The home team scored the first goal in the fifteenth minute of play when rampaging Oche Josiah capitalized on Peter Momoh's free kick to do a simple tap-in and put his team ahead. The rest of the half produced no further goals as the two teams count each other out both in terms of strength and tactics. However, on resumption into the second half the midfield duo of veteran Lukman Mohammed and Musa Wakili ensured a solid, mobile and composed display in the middle of the park (Premier League standard) as the Ikon Allah Boys continued to search for more goals. Rock solid performance at back from Sunday Akinmoladun and Daniel Edeh who shown spectacularly denied the opponent scoring chances after several incursions. Road safety players went hard with flying hard tackles as the game enters the crucial stage, with several of their players going into the referees book. After several attempts and ceaseless pressure from the home team the second goal of the game arrived on the 74th minute after a Road Safety player handled the ball inside the box as the referee signalled a penalty, Oche Josiah picked the ball and calmly slot past Azuibike in goal for Road Safety FC, his second in the game and fourth goal in two matches. Road Safety FC Coach Akin Ade Onigbinde was disappointed for losing to the  hosts but hopes for matches as the League continues. "It was a good game and good fight from my players, we came to Minna to pick at least a point, but we ended a losing side, some calls were not in our favor but we can't change the scoreline, we will go back and plan for the next match against Shekarau Babes... " Niger Tornadoes Chief Coach Umar Farouk said the team's target to gain promotion to the NPFL remains unshaken. "We made only one change from our last home game, it was a tactical change, we wanted more goals because our plan is to always seal the game within the first fourty five minutes, the boys gave a good account of themselves. Our target is promotion and the players are aware, we shall work towards achieving that aim... Our next game is against DMD FC of Maiduguri, a long journey but we hope to arrive their early in order to execute the game as planned.
